Robin Carresse Combo: Original Rhythm & Blues

Robin Carresse began playing electric guitar in 2015, and his passion for the 50s and 60s led him naturally to take an interest in the Rhythm & Blues music of that era. He then developed his own thu style, inspired by pioneers of the genre such as T-Bone Walker, Chuck Berry and Lowell Fulson, as well as current guitarists like Junior Watson and Kid Ramos.

From 2016 onwards, Robin Carresse made a name for himself playing at Parisian Blues jams (Caveau de la Huchette, Caveau des Oubliettes, Sunset-Sunside...) and taking part in Tributes d'artistes 50s/60s organized at Balajo.
Then in 2017 he joined singer Eddy Gazel's rock'n'roll band "The Ol' Bry", and in 2019 "The Red Roosters" with Richard Genipa on vocals, covering the repertoire of the famous Big Joe Turner to perfection.

This year, Robin Carresse has finally created his own Rhythm & Blues / Jump Blues and Rock'n'roll band, entitled "Robin Carresse Combo", inspired by black American music of the 50s and 60s, such as T-Bone-Walker, Pee Wee Crayton, Howlin' Wolf and Ike Turner.
To accompany him in this project, he has surrounded himself with 4 experienced and talented musicians:

Sylvain Designe on drums, Bruno Maurin on bass and Mathias Luszpinski alias Mat le rouge on saxophone.

The combo already has a number of concerts to its credit, including one at the legendary Caveau de la Huchette this year.
