Like a scene from a James Bond movie from the 60s, the WELL QUARTET emerges from the waters and once again draws its strings for MOKA WOODS. After numerous collaborations (Imany, JB Dunckel- AIR, Le Siffleur, Médéric Collignon, Nina Attal, Thibaud Defever), the Parisian quartet is back with a mission: to combine its classical training with the voice of blues singer Elise Sperandio, all set to jazz and soul standards.
The result is a unique musical experience featuring raw, inhabited, powerful and sensual vocals. An atypical soul project for fans of Dinah Washington, Amy Winehouse, Nina Simone and Etta James.
