Singer and violinist Marie Salvat and guitarist Vladimir Médail take you on a journey through the traditional music of the Spanish-speaking world. Through a careful selection of Argentinian, Chilean and Spanish songs, they pay homage to great performers such as Mercedes Sosa, Atahualpa Yupanqui and Violetta Parra, revisiting their repertoires through the prism of jazz and the classical music from which they originate. Here, the poetry of the Spanish language converses with the flights of the violin and the suavity of the acoustic guitar, improvisations marry the rhythms of the chacarera and the milonga.
