You've been dreaming about it, it's back! Yes, the Marcounet terrace is back, and we're celebrating in style 💜. For the occasion, we're inviting the solar-powered "Roda de Paname" to come and entertain our beautiful terrace for free!
For those of you in the background who haven't been following along: Une Roda? De Paname? The principle of the roda de samba is that the musicians play Afro-Brazilian samba songs in a circle, surrounded by the audience, who sing along and clap their hands.
What makes La roda de Paname so special is that it offers a different take on the French chanson repertoire, mixing classics such as "Le Sud" and "Siffler sur la colline" with the rhythms, tunes and instruments of the samba roda: percussion, 7-string guitar and cavaquinho! Also featuring Brazilian music classics revisited.
The originality of the project lies in its generosity and sharing, as French and Brazilian musicians gather in a circle to sing their respective repertoires.
The concert is half standing/half seated.
Thank you for your support of live music!
