Ioan Streba Quartet - Tribute to Django

Romanian-born Ioan Streba has lived in France for over 25 years. Since then, he has accompanied the greatest artists on stage and contributed to their albums: Biréli Lagrène, Angelo Debarre, Stochelo Rosenberg, Didier Lockwood, Thomas Dutronc, ...
Currently living in Paris, he performs at all major venues and festivals, both in France and abroad, and is developing his own projects and albums.
At the Marcounet, on July 14, Ioan Streba will present his "Tribute to Django" with his Gypsy Jazz Quartet: faithful to his roots and to the great leaders with whom he has collaborated since his beginnings, Ioan continues to develop this formation as a tribute to the work of Django Reinhardt and to all Gypsy Jazz. Ioan Streba was born with music in Romania in a violinist family, in 1965. He is now living in France for more than 25 years. He is regularly performing on stage with the greatest jazz artists and recording for their albums : Biréli Lagrène, Angelo Debarre, Stochelo Rosenberg, Didier Lockwood, Thomas Dutronc, etc... He is by himself performing in the greatest places and festivals, in Europe and abroad, creating and developping his own projects and albums, as a leader, bright soloist, composer, and arranger.
