The combination of jazz saxophone and guitar on Brazilian melodies inevitably evokes Stan Getz (with Joao Gilberto) as well as Cannonball Adderley, Paul Desmond and Sonny Rollins.
These are the tracks that Sydney Rodrigues (guitar/vocals) and Olivier Defays (saxophones) will once again explore, drawing on the immense repertoire of Brazilian music (which is not limited to the many wonderful compositions by Tom Jobim...).
