The quartet was born out of a meeting at a prestigious jazz school, the CMDL (Ecole des Musiques Didier Lockwood), the starting point for young French musicians on their way to the professional scene.
The repertoire is a mix of compositions and standards played in the hard bop tradition, inspired by Sonny Rollins, Branford Marsalis, Tony Malaby, and Joe Henderson.
