Dans les grands échanges inter-culturels que permet le jazz, ceux avec la Grèce ne sont pas les plus fréquents.
Il fallait un franco-grec comme Stéphane Tsapis pour tenter et réussir l’expérience. Pianiste sensibilisé très jeune
à Thelonious Monk, qui se fait discret ici, Tsapis a voulu la cohabitation de thèmes populaires et de compositions
personnelles, un art où il est passé maître. A la tête de son trio, Stéphane Tsapis nous confirme avec ce troisième
album qu’il est un compositeur qui dans les années à venir ne devrait pas rencontrer de frontières.
